A visual recap of the September edition of #TDKtuesdays / Milan event, my much-loved side project dedicated to fostering creativity and connection.

“Creativity in all its forms, lines, and curves”

Starting her journey as a photographer, Carolina’s career has evolved into a continuous exploration of visual languages and artistic forms. Her work begins with the human body —its lines, curves, and infinite expressions— and spans self-portraits during her time at Fabrica, fashion photography once back in Milan, her Fantabody fashion line, and, ultimately, the creation of Fantastudio.

Fantastudio is as fluid and dynamic as the artists it hosts. It adapts and transforms, offering a canvas for creativity while staying rooted in the authenticity of its surroundings. Located in a part of Milan where the true soul of the old city meets the realities of gentrification, the studio embodies Carolina’s commitment to diversity and realness.

Our conversation with Carolina was a deep dive into her artistic journey and the inspirations behind her work.

We laughed, we chatted, we filled ourselves with inspiration, and we had some special encounters. It was a lovely evening, well spent in a “Fantastic” place!

WE ARE BACK… IN FULL COLORS!

After a few years of stop, I’m super happy to be back curating #TDKtuesdays / MILAN, my creative, much loved, side project.

For the last event, we went visiting the open space of two illustrators: MOLTO, a creative nest full of colors, prints, fanzines, postcards, and books.

STUDIO VISIT @molto.work w/ Cláudia Alexandrino and Loris Alessandria.
“Two illustrators and half, one creative open space”

@shutupclaudia, Cláudia’s artistic alter ego, draws stories with an intimate and very personal language, shaping soft curves and using pop colors. Most of the times, her subjects are women’s bodies. Cláudia is also the co-founder and curator of Illustration Ladies Milano: drawing evenings focused on women.

Loris, aka @loriseffe, uses a softer color palette; his illustrations are modern, often combined with animated videos. He works in the field of branding, digital, and advertising mainly for agencies and companies based in the US.

These two apparently different worlds are actually not that separated: Cláudia and Loris are a couple. And MOLTO is their creative refuge. Here, a large table –right in the center of the open space– showcases treasures from their travels around the world: prints, fanzines, postcards, and books, a space to nourish inspiration and creativity.
